If your car has a wired Android Auto or Apple CarPlay USB port, it should work. Both USB-A and USB-C car ports are supported.
Any USB-C Power Delivery charger works. For best results, use a short, high-quality cable — longer cables can limit performance.
The electronics are very similar across both versions. The main difference is the case material. See the Product page for the full side-by-side comparison.
Yes, but use an MFi-certified Lightning cable. Non-MFi cables don't support USB Power Delivery, so the adapter won't be able to fast charge your phone — it may still work, but only at standard charging speeds.
Start with the basics: try a different cable, make sure your phone is unlocked when you plug in, and confirm your car's USB port is set to CarPlay or Android Auto mode — not charge-only. If the issue continues, check the Tech Notes page or reach out directly.
Shorter is better. We recommend cables under 1 meter (3 ft) where possible. Longer cables can introduce enough resistance to affect both charging speed and data reliability.
